SALOMON XT PURE ADVANCED


     During my time at the company, I had the opportunity to expand the iconic XT family by co-creating the XT PURE ADVANCED alongside Axelle Portailler, Senior Footwear Designer at Salomon Sportstyle. 

The complexity and technicality of the components and materials allowed me to deeply understand the complete development process of a shoe designed to be more ethical. The challenges we faced were highly formative and required a genuine commitment to thoughtful problem; creating, refining, and reworking to achieve the highest level of precision.

It was an even greater challenge to construct an external cage on the upper while paying homage to the Sensifit, the brand’s iconic patent. This required extensive research into the archives, adapting and reinventing the shape while honoring its legacy. I had the privilege of accessing the workshops to create the first prototype with my own hands.

This experience was a perfect blend of function and design, innovation and heritage, craftsmanship and precision.
